A cement system allowing cementing of wellbore sections with a high likelihood of fluid migrations. Such intervals are often prone to channel formation in the cement, eventually leading to production halts and remedial isolation work.
ECS G (ExtendCem G) IS A MULTICOMPONENT MIXTURE OF MATERIALS, PREDOMINANTLY OF INORGANIC ORIGIN.
Physical properties
Appearance: powder, ranging from grey to dark grey color Solubility in water: partial
Properties of cement stone
Cement slurry density: 1.7 g/cm³ – 2.0 g/cm³ Initial setting time: within 10 – 16 hours Compressive strength at 50°C: not less than 20 MPa Thickening time at 60°C: adjustable Expansion: 1.5% – 5%
Advantages
Improving the adhesive properties of the cement slurry, enhancing the bonding quality between the casing and the rock formation;
creating counterpressure within the system while being in the wellbore space and preventing fluid intrusion into the cement slurry column during the transitional period;
possessing an expansion effect—ensuring maximum filling of the annular space.
Usage limitations
Operating temperature range from 16°C to 100°C.
Packaging and storage conditions
The Compression Cement System (CCS) is packaged in soft containers (FIBC) weighing up to 1 ton, equipped with a triple polyethylene liner. The product is recommended to be stored in a dry place on pallets away from moisture, open flames, and heaters. After opening the FIBC, it is necessary to ensure the packaging is airtight to prevent product spoilage. The product has a shelf life of at least 12 months.
APPLICATION
IN CASE OF FLUID MIGRATION PROBABILITY
Used for cementing technical and operational columns in intervals with high fluid migration probability.
FOR ISOLATION QUALITY
during well cementing, it maximally fills the annular space, which has a positive impact on both insulation quality and CBL results. It possesses compressional properties.
DIFFERS WITH INCREASED SEDIMENTATION STABILITY
and reduced water discharge, which positively affects the results of cementing the interval.
