HCS (HEAVYWEIGHT CEMENT SYSTEM) IS A MULTICOMPONENT MIXTURE OF MAINLY INORGANIC MATERIALS
Physical properties
Appearance: powder, ranging from gray to dark gray color Solubility in water: partial
Properties of cement stone
Density of cement slurry: from 2 g/cm³ to 2.4 g/cm³. Compressive strength after 24 hours at 60°C: not less than 40 MPa. Setting time: adjustable.
Advantages
Increased early and final strength;
Sedimentation stability;
High hydrostatic pressure in the annular space, preventing gas and water breakthrough.
Usage limitations
Operating temperature range from 20°C to 150°C.
Packaging and storage conditions
HCS (HEAVYWEIGHT CEMENT SYSTEM) is packaged in soft containers (FIBC) weighing up to 1 ton, equipped with a triple polyethylene liner. The product should be stored in a dry place on pallets away from moisture, open flames, and heating devices. After opening the FIBC, it is necessary to ensure the packaging is sealed tightly to prevent product spoilage. The product has a shelf life of at least 12 months.
APPLICATION
Designed for cementing technical and operational columns in intervals with abnormally high reservoir pressure.
HWC have low permeability of the cement stone.
They have increased sedimentation stability and reduced water loss, which positively affects the results of cementing the interval.
